Friday: Royal Wedding: Warm-up at 6:15 before the 7:00 concert (Ubi Caritas, Blest Pair of Sirens, I Was Glad, and hymns) We will wear robes for this concert. FREE event, but donations are encouraged.
Next Sunday we will sing at 10:30 (warm-up at 9:45): We will reprise Ubi Caritas (complete) and Not One Sparrow
Next Sunday evening at 7:30 is the Intercollegiate Choral Festival featuring 13 Nebraska choirs at Kimball Hall (FREE) I have the pleasure of leading the Doane Choir. The massed choirs will sing together a cool arrangement of AMAZING GRACE with organ and bagpipes to finish the evening! : )
In the meantime, I encourage you to copy performance markings from the blog for ALL movements of the DONA NOBIS PACEM so that you have them ready when we begin rehearsing in earnest on October 5. Here is the link: http://firstplymouthchoir.
I look forward to these next few intense and exciting weeks to share music and ministry together!
Grace and peace,
TT
