Dear Singers,

Several things to remind you of:

  1. The rehearsal this Wednesday will begin at 7:00 PM in the Choir room. FPC - We will look at the two pieces for Sunday morning first, both of which are also concert pieces. Following those two pieces, those who are not singing the concert will be excused. The Doane Choir will be joining us for the evening, and Kurt will be conducting one of the Sunday morning pieces, so please do your best to be prompt and ready to go at 7:00 PM.

  1. Thursdays Rehearsal ALSO begins at 7:00 and will begin in the choir room. Following warm-up and a few other items we will move to the sanctuary to rehearse with the orchestra which will join us for a 7:30 start time.

  1. Saturday rehearsal will start PROMPTLY at 11:00 with orchestra, so please plan to arrive early to get into place. REMEMBER THAT WE LITERALLY PAY THE ORCHESTRA BY THE MINUTE, and we don’t want to waste ANY OF THAT TIME! J

  1. Tickets for the Sunday performance will once again be offered to the choir – buy one, get one free. You must purchase tickets in advance. See Josh on Wednesday or Thursday night.

  2. NCDA (Click for link).
  3. A LARGE NUMBER OF YOU raised your hands indicating that this was something that you wanted to do. Please take time to look at your calendars and mark this date. The performance will include a variety of things that we have done this last year, and I hope most of you can be part of the event. It is a GREAT HONOR to be asked, and we want to give a great performance. You will be receiving commitment cards for this event in your music boxes. Rehearsals for this will take place in the last half of our regular Wednesday rehearsals following the concert, and I will be sending more detailed information soon.
