9.22.10 - Are you anchored?

OH yes!

Thank you all for your spirit and energy tonight as we have really begun to breathe life into our Moses Hogan arrangement for Sunday. HOORAY! We will meet Sunday at 9:48 a.m. Please be on time-- we have just enough time on Sunday mornings to get centered, focused, anchored, and prepared to do our part in worship, and it is essential that we all are present to engage in the whole centering, focusing, anchoring, and preparing process.

I am so sorry that in all my excitement with our spiritual interpretation I forgot to share some very important prayer concerns and information with you.

Cecil Walker's memorial service will be at First-Plymouth tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 p.m. Cecil was a relative of Bradley and Kimberly Walker as well as IV and Adrienne Dickson, and many of you will know them. Jack Rinke will be playing piano for the service. Rob McMaster will sing THE LORD'S PRAYER, and I will be playing organ as well so that our choir is contributing to the memorial celebration in a variety of ways.

Connie Ore, the wife of our former Assistant Organist Charles Ore, passed away recently. Many of you signed a sympathy card tonight. Certainly know that both the Ores and the Walker families will appreciate your prayers.

I look so forward to 9:48 on Sunday.

Praise be to God almighty- OH yes! : )
