Dear Singers,
- Thanks to all who participated in last Sunday’s Music Appreciation Sunday. Numerous people were uplifted by your contributions.
- As we begin to wrap up the season, I wanted to summarize the final events: We have two more Wednesday night rehearsals (the 20th & 31st) during which we will look at music for the coming weeks and the month of June. During June, we will not rehearse on Wednesdays, but WILL sing at the 10:30 service, meeting at 9:30 to warm-up. July will be a casual choir welcoming members from the First Plymouth Chorale or others that may want to participate. I hope as many who are able will take part.
- We are also scheduled to sing for the Nebraska Choral Directors Association on Monday evening, July 13th. The music for this event will draw upon familiar literature but will require a couple of rehearsals in addition to the last two regular rehearsals mentioned above. I’m proposing that those rehearsals take place on July 1st and July 8th, with a possible final rehearsal on Sunday night, July 12th. I hope all of you will consider taking part in this event as it is a great honor to be asked! You will find a commitment card in your box, or you may send me an email pledging your participation in this event.
